Description

This homemade peach crisp is sweet, buttery, and bursting with summer flavor.


Ingredients

6 fresh peaches, peeled and sliced

2 tbsp lemon juice

1/3 cup granulated sugar

1 tbsp cornstarch

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 tsp cinnamon

3/4 cup flour

3/4 cup oats

2/3 cup brown sugar

1/2 cup butter, cold and cubed

1/2 tsp salt


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix sliced peaches with lemon juice, sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon, and vanilla.
  3. Pour fruit into a 9×9-inch baking dish.
  4. In a bowl, mix flour, oats, brown sugar, and salt. Cut in butter until crumbly.
  5. Spread topping evenly over peaches.
  6. Bake for 35–40 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  7. Cool slightly. Serve warm with ice cream.

Notes

  • Best served warm with ice cream. Stores for 4 days in the fridge.
